Flowers and lace- trashified

  

These light blue upcycled shorts are my most popular item in my Etsy shop (the most favourited item I mean), yet no one has bought them..... Maybe they are over priced? (22pounds) Anyways, I though why not do a post in this popular theme?

I'll tell you now my inspiration was Dolly-Kei. Their use of florals and lace, customization and fresh ideas are so original! (more on Dolly-Kei later, a whole post shall be dedicated;)

Ohhh~~!!! They would all look so cute together!!!! >.<  I absolutely love the crotched/knitted white pixie halterneck top, and those sunglasses! Mmmm!

Now heres an outfit I think is really very cute and sexy, and although its festival style it still seems unique  to whats around....

         

 

I love old battered boots!!!! Especially when there a bit long, so punky!

This outfit with a ridiculous amount of eyeliner, some heavy jewellery and scruffy plaits....

 

 

4 Alternative Ways to wear a leather and flower headband...

 So I made these head bands for my Etsy shop, and my friend said to me... I wouldn't know how to wear a headband like that! Shock! Horror! Well I better show you how.....



90's Grunger  Looks cute with pigtails! May be hard to tell in the picture, but the top is vintage 90s psychedelic sunflower top with sheer sleeves, distressed grey cut offs shorts and platform boots.

Festival time!!!!!  Really, can't go wrong here! All you need is some denim shorts and a funky crop top

Flower Child.  Looks a best with wavy long hair and bare feet. Note the double headband for ultimate flower effect!

Grunge/festival/vintage lace

This is like a fusion of styles, but personally I think sheer lace, flower band and Dark lipstick (in this case navy blue) are a match made in heaven. (or hell! ;).... )

. FUNKADELIC BABY!

Not saying we dress badly now, its all totally dependant on the person etc.... but DAMN! 50-40 years ago it was so much more FUNKY! I think thats why we cant let it go.... we miss the GROOVE, we miss the FOXY ladies, we miss the outrageously sexy....Perhaps?

My favourites are the purple fringed jacket, the purple velvet Go-Go's and the brown patchwork boots,  the patchwork jacket, the yellow flares  and the platform clogs!!!!


My favourite thing to note about this..... No Fear!
No fear to clash prints, to look outrageous or over the top!
 There ain't no "style rules"!
Its all full-on, offensive, playful fashion. And I like.
So my last thing for your consideration.... In my world fashion crime is fashionable, and gutsy is hot. Step over the line and never return!
